I discovered this film unexpectedly; I was not even considering the cast, but the synopsis piqued my interest. The movie features Lee Min-jeong in the role of Gina, Lee Jeong Jin as Jae Ik, and my personal favorite, Lee Kwang Soo, although I cannot recall the name of his character. He portrays the individual who is bullied by Min-jeong's character.
The plot is quite straightforward: a former member of a girl group transitions into a career as a DJ, aspiring to regain her former fame. However, her radio show struggles with low ratings, prompting the introduction of Jae Ik, who is tasked with improving the situation. The two characters clash significantly; he is pragmatic and emotionally distant, while she embodies a more carefree and nurturing spirit. Eventually, after being challenged by Jae Ik, she devises a new segment that gradually reveals to him that she is not the entitled diva he initially perceived. Concurrently, another ex-member of Gina's girl group seeks retribution for past grievances, threatening Gina's professional aspirations.
Overall, I found the chemistry between the two main characters lacking in depth. Although there were moments that hinted at a connection, particularly when he begins to appreciate her different qualities and makes efforts to support her career, it did not fully resonate.
The narrative is quite uncomplicated: a former girl group member embarks on a new journey as a DJ, with the hope of reclaiming her lost fame. Unfortunately, her radio show fails to attract a significant audience, leading to the arrival of Jae Ik, who is brought in to enhance the ratings. Their relationship is marked by conflict; he is practical and detached, while she is lighthearted and compassionate. As the story progresses, she devises a creative segment in response to Jae Ik's challenge, which gradually alters his perception of her from that of a spoiled diva to a more complex individual. Meanwhile, another ex-member of Gina's girl group plots revenge, aiming to sabotage Gina's career.
In general, I felt that the chemistry between the two protagonists was not particularly compelling. There were fleeting moments of connection, primarily when he begins to recognize her different facets and attempts to assist her in her career, but these instances did not create a strong emotional bond.
I must admit that I found myself more emotionally affected by the segments of the radio broadcast that featured individual narratives; those moments were truly poignant. I was particularly moved by the scene in which the young girl sings to her stepfather, as it was heart-wrenching to witness her realization and acceptance of the love he has consistently shown her.
Furthermore, I perceived the conflict between Gina and the other female band member as somewhat contrived, seemingly introduced merely to generate tension within the film. While the conflict was present, the manner in which it was ultimately resolved suggested that it was not as significant as it initially appeared.
Lastly, I thoroughly enjoyed the cameos from "Running Man," especially the scene with Joong Kook and Gary in the car, which was quite humorous, along with Kwang Soo being playfully teased by them once again. It was delightful! Additionally, it is interesting to note that Min Jeong made an appearance on "Running Man" after the filming of this movie.

Best Shopping Apps
Ideal for: A vast array of affordable products readily available.
Details: Temu appears to have emerged unexpectedly as a leading contender in the shopping category on the App Store. Similar to Amazon, it functions as an online marketplace featuring an extensive range of products from millions of vendors. A brief exploration of the app or website reveals an impressive assortment of items priced under $10, many from brands that may be unfamiliar to consumers. At the time of this writing, one notable "lightning deal" on Temu showcased a pair of men's casual cargo pants for only $9.77. However, the durability of such inexpensive apparel is uncertain, and one should anticipate frequent price changes, particularly after a lightning deal concludes.
Temu provides free shipping on the majority of items (though a minimum order requirement may apply), and its website indicates that shipping times can vary from six to 20 days, likely due to many products being shipped directly from overseas factories or warehouses.
Considerations: While low-cost items may be appealing, they often raise concerns regarding quality, potentially resulting in higher expenses over time. Reports of delayed shipments have been widely reported in the media and on the Better Business Bureau's website. Nevertheless, Temu stands as a legitimate shopping platform that has garnered significant popularity.
